Air Filtration

The purpose of air filters in your vehicle is to prevent dust, dirt, and grime from getting into your engine and ruining your car, truck, or SUV. Filters should typically be replaced at least once a year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. These filters work to allow your engine to function efficiently and cleanly, keep out the various contaminants that could ruin your engine. At the Malloy Toyota Service Center, it is the job of our technicians to inspect your air filter for built-up dirt and grime and to replace that air filter with a fresh filter from our team of experts.

If you're operating a hybrid vehicle, keep in mind that possessing a battery ventilation filter will help elongate the life of your hybrid. Toyota has a variety of hybrid models available and we know that keeping these vehicles on the road is important. That is why we encourage all those hybrid owners to make sure a service technician inspects your battery ventilation filter and replace it when necessary. Don't forget about your cabin, as air filters work to keep things like pollen and odor out of your interior. Our staff can inspect that cabin filter as well and replace it when needed.
